Today, 8th July, we join colleagues around the world in marking International Paramedics Day 2025.

This year’s theme, , shines a light on the incredible teamwork and collaboration that define our profession. Whether responding to emergencies on the road, working side by side with other services, or supporting each other after tough shifts, paramedics truly embody unity and community every single day.

Launched in 2022 to honour Dominique-Jean Larrey (the "father of modern-day ambulance services"), this day reminds us to celebrate the vital contributions of paramedics and first responders everywhere.

To all the paramedics out there, thank you for what you do. 💚
