Savasana : More Than Just Lying Down
For many, Savasana (final relaxation) is the hardest part of yoga.
It can feel uncomfortable to stop moving, to be still with yourself, to rest without distraction. Some even fidget, resist, or slip out early.
But here’s the truth :
Savasana is where the practice lands. It’s where your body absorbs the benefits of movement, your mind learns to settle, and your nervous system is given permission to reset.
Skipping it is like baking bread and never letting it rise!
So if Savasana feels challenging, that’s a sign it’s exactly what you need. Start with curiosity, not judgment. Allow yourself to soften. No “doing,” no “achieving.” Just being.
Because sometimes the bravest thing you can do… is lie down and let go...
