Time for Change Therapy I am an accredited counsellor with both the BACP and NCS and have undertaken training enabling me to offer counselling online, by telephone and face to face.

Is it time for change in your life? There comes a time when you’ve had enough and you want change. What are you going to do about it? Who are you going to talk to? And perhaps most importantly, who can you trust? Counselling is a type of talking therapy that aims to help you deal with and overcome issues that are causing emotional pain, negative thoughts or problems. I provide a safe, confidential and regular space for you to talk and explore difficult or painful feelings. By empathising and understanding your issues I work alongside you to help you find clarity with a goal of facilitating positive change. There are many misconceptions surrounding hypnotherapy. At all times you remain aware of your surroundings and it is usually described as a feeling of deep relaxation. As an Analytical Hypnotherapist I draw on techniques gained in my training as a counsellor and psychotherapist in order to discover and address deeper, longer standing issues. By focusing on the underlying issues, the root cause can be addressed in a layered approach. For example, if the presenting issue is anxiety, analytical hypnotherapy seeks to establish the cause of the anxiety (eg an event from childhood), before addressing it. It aims to resolve problems as opposed to managing them. Hypnotherapy can help with:
• Anger management
• Anxiety
• Confidence
• Insomnia
• Motivation
• Panic attacks
• Phobias
• Self esteem
• Stress
• Stop smoking
• Weight loss

If you were a body or form of water, what would you be? This was the theme chosen by a client for their final session with me and we painted together wven though we were miles apart and this is what I drew. Now I can interpret my subconscious for the meaning. It's a powerful way to work.
