Introducing Soshanna Wear My Baby Canterbury who will be attending our upcoming mum and baby event to share her expertise in baby wearing and parenting support.
"I’m Soshanna, I’m based in Faversham, East Kent. I am a self-employed mum of three who is passionate about birth, pregnancy, birth and supporting parents and parents to be on their unique journey. My children now 17, 15 and 10 years old were all born at home. I offer consultations both in person and online, support and information on carrying safely and comfortably from newborn to preschool and beyond.”

Posted • Brrr it’s cold outside!! Here are my top tips for carrying in the cold:
🥶 I would highly recommend not using snowsuits in slings. They are too bulky and not breathable. 🥶Favour lots of thin layers, thin fleece suits are great (take a size bigger), 🥶keep feet very warm: lots of pairs of socks, thick woolen socks/snow booties, has and mittens. 🥶Remember that your sling counts as 1 layer and your baby isn’t able to regular their own body temperature. 🥶Check on baby frequently to make sure they don’t overheat. Take a layer off if their chest feels warm. 🥶Large coats or Babywearing coats are great to use as an extra layer and be opened if you go inside.
