Lee Harris — guest guitarist with On The Run and touring partner of Pink Floyd’s legendary drummer Nick Mason and his Saucerful of Secrets band — took to the stage on the bandstand, in front of the Wynsdale logo!

Every dog we take in begins a journey—from uncertainty to safety, from a temporary stop to a forever home.

Our little explorer Jack is well on his way. With each step (and a few muddy paw prints left behind at Wynsdale!), he’s growing more confident, curious, and connected. From cautious beginnings to bounding through fields, Jack is discovering what it means to feel safe, seen, and loved.

Through the care of fosters, the support of our community, and the space to simply be a dog, he’s been given a real chance—and he’s making the most of it.

Being part of Jack’s journey—and the journeys of so many other dogs we’ve rescued while out on jobs—has been one of the most meaningful parts of what we do. It reminds us that every life matters, and every bit of kindness adds up to real change.

After a demanding journey across Europe and into Ukraine, the convoy successfully dropped off vital supplies — including medical aid, food, protective equipment, and essentials — exactly where they were needed most.

We’re incredibly proud of our not-for-profit arm Wynsdale Community Connect CIC for taking part in yesterday’s fantastic event in Folkestone — a brilliant gathering of passionate people and organisations working across the VCSE sector in Kent. Folkestone & Hythe District Council

At Wynsdale Environmental, a lot of the work we deliver is at the intersection of health, housing, and social care — delivering responsive, compassionate services that reduce hospital admissions, support safe discharge, and help prevent accidents, illness, and decline.

After miles of progress, the convoy hit a snag—one of the vehicles broke down on the way to the next drop point. In the middle of Ukraine, with a tight schedule and vital supplies still on board, this was the kind of moment that could make or break the mission.

Tools came out. Hopes were high. Every passing minute mattered.

Was it going to start? No one knew for sure—but giving up wasn’t an option.

This is the reality of aid on the ground. It’s not always smooth. It’s not always simple. But it always moves forward.

After days on the road across Europe, Ryan finally reached his destination deep inside Ukraine. Supplies collected back in the UK—medical aid, food, clothing, and protective gear—were offloaded and handed directly to those coordinating relief efforts on the ground.

Every box carried more than just essentials—it carried the support, compassion, and solidarity of those who gave back home.

The handover was swift but meaningful. No headlines, no spotlight—just people helping people, exactly where help is needed most.

For Ryan, this wasn’t the end of the journey—but it was the moment everything came full circle.

These rogues offer cheap prices, take your money, and then dump rubbish in our countryside. Roadsides, fields, woodlands – all trashed.

It’s infuriating, irresponsible, and illegal.

And the worst part?
The waste is often traced back to innocent households – who then face the fines.
All because someone trusted a “man with a van” off Facebook.

Let’s be clear – we don’t want to be tarred with the same brush.

Looking for a hands-on role where no two days are the same? We’re on the lookout for Cleaners and Clearance Operatives to join our busy, friendly team.

* Deep cleaning homes and communal areas
* Supporting vulnerable customers
* Clearing clutter or hoarded properties
* Helping remove fly-tipped waste
* Tidying gardens, sheds, garages – and more
