Today is Nystagmus Awareness Day! This condition causes involuntary eye moments- they can go side to side, up and down or in circles.

Nystagmus can be present from birth ( congenital) or develop later due to various factors like neurological issues, certain medications, or injuries. While there is no cure , management often involves things like special glasses or contacts and sometimes medications or even surgery.

Spreading awareness helps us all better understand and support those living with nystagmus. Let’s make a difference!
