I’m really pleased to share that I am now a Certified Lipoedema Specialist ✨

This has been such a meaningful step for me, especially knowing there are currently fewer than 100 specialists in the UK! It’s allowed me to deepen my understanding and refine how I support my clients in a much more focused and effective way.
What this means for you is that my treatments will now be more specialised, more personalised, and more results-driven — with a greater level of care, attention, and expertise in every session. And I CAN NOT wait to see what this does for you! 💥

As my practice evolves to reflect this, there will be some changes to treatments and pricing. These updates ensure I can continue to provide the highest standard of care and the best possible outcomes for you.

If you’ve been thinking about starting your journey or continuing your treatment, I’d love to support you with this next level of care ✨

My messages are always open if you’d like to chat or learn more 💌

The power of self care!

This wonderful lady had a 360 tummy tuck and openly admits she’s moisturised, complied with silicone tape and generally cared for the front of her scar much better compared to the back.
Look at the difference… the front of her scar colour is much faded, much thinner and has more mobility.

We know the back of her scar will catch up, but it speaks volumes for how good early care of your scar can have on your recovery!

Don’t be afraid of moving your scar ♥️

Introducing scar stretching to your normal routine is so important! If you can complete some scar stretching exercises at home as well as in your treatment sessions then you will notice improved mobility, reduced stiffness, improved circulation and reduced discomfort and pulling.

You can do a scar stretch on any part of the body, do you want to know more?

Improving your range of motion after an arm lift (brachioplasty) takes patience and consistency 💪✨

It’s normal to feel tightness and stiffness in the early weeks — your body is healing. Once your surgeon clears you to move, gentle, controlled exercises can help reduce stiffness and support better mobility.

Focus on:
• Light shoulder rolls and arm raises
• Slow, pain-free stretching
• Good posture to avoid rounded shoulders
• Gradual progression — never force movement!

You should feel a mild stretch, not sharp pain. Healing tissue responds best to steady, gentle effort over time.
Swelling and tightness can last for weeks, sometimes months, but small daily movements make a big difference.

With this lady we’ve incorporated the above exercises along with scar massage by herself and scar therapy sessions. This is 2 weeks difference, yep you heard that right - 2 weeks!!

Recovery isn’t just about how your arms look — it’s about how they move and feel. 🤍

Working around obstacles is a natural job of an occupational therapist so combine OT with Lymphatic specialist and scar specialist and you’ve got the perfect mix!

Sometimes surgery doesn’t always go to plan, it can lead to infections or wound openings or many other complications which can slow down recovery. Thankfully lymphatic drainage generally boosts your healing as it gently reroutes lymph fluid around damaged areas toward healthy lymph nodes including improving circulation which in turn gives faster wound healings!

So if you are having some post op recovery complications, get in touch, MLD may be the part you are missing 🫶🏼

Please note I may need medical clearance from your medical team prior to completing MLD if there are complexities.
