Today 6 years on we remember Caroline Flack.

Her passing was a heartbreaking reminder that behind every public smile is a human being with real feelings, real struggles, and real vulnerabilities.

It encouraged an important national conversation about mental health, media responsibility, and the impact of online commentary.

So today, let this be more than remembrance.

Let it be a pause.
Let it be reflection.
Let it be kindness.

Today, we choose kindness.
We choose compassion.
We choose to remember her for her laughter, her sparkle, and the happiness she gave so many.

And if her story taught us anything, it’s this;

Be gentle with one another.
You never truly know what someone is carrying.

Words matter.
Comments matter.
Kindness matters.

When I was a youngster, my childhood wasn't the best. In truth, parts of it were absolutely horrendous and I still have moments in my life where I struggle because of what happened.

I feel extremely grateful and fortunate that I'm now in a position where I can help others at a time when it's a devastating moment in their life.

We were contacted by friends of a gentleman that had passed away at such a young age and sadly really didn't stand a chance in life from the outset.

When we arrange a funeral service, one of the biggest points of conversation is hearing about the person who has passed away. Listening is a skill set that I never realised I had until I started out in the world of funeral arranging.

As you can see in the photo, the amazing pine wood coffin with the engraving "Jake" etched on the side.

Jake had some truly amazing friends who pulled together to help fund his funeral and to lay him to rest at a natrual burial ground in the Suffolk countryside.

The service was both amazing and emotional. People knew Jake's story and it was wonderful to see so many of his friends there.

Well done all of you for coming together like you did.

It was a privilege to have been able to help you all and give Jake the send off he deserved. ❤️

Such a joy to see Ipswich Town F.C Women win away from home against Portsmouth this afternoon and move away from the foot of the division.

This is a very serious issue and has certainly been a problem in our area.

It was seemingly going very well not so long ago.

Unfortunately I would say that it's the capability of staff at the Bereavement Office here in Ipswich at the hospital that seems to be fly in the ointment.

Some families are waiting two weeks to be able to register, if not longer.

So many things have to add up and are connected to be able to register and I believe people should be held to account who aren't doing their job properly.

It's also apparent that at the Bereavement Office at Ipswich hospital, no one ever seems to work a full week. Part time is no good.

You can never get hold of anyone on the phone and the people that are suffering are the families of the deceased.

This coming week I'm at the stage now where I'm going to make a formal complaint and can only hope that this is the kick up the backside they need.

It's embarrassing and hugely frustrating.

John Virgo, the snooker legend, has passed away at the age of 79.

Virgo's most notable victory was in the final of the 1979 UK Championship, where he defeated Terry Griffiths.

John was also co-host of the Big Break television show with Jim Davidson.

We all remember watching Home Alone, one of the most famous Christmas movies of all time.

Catherine O'Hara, the comedic actress best known for her starring roles in the Home Alone and Beetlejuice films, as well as her Emmy-winning turn in Schitt's Creek, has sadly passed away after a short illness aged 71.
