Whenever we sit and talk through funeral arrangements, we make sure we know as much about the person who has passed away as possible.

It allows us to learn about the person we have in our care, allows us know their story and to gain a true understanding of what they meant to the family sat in front of us.

On this occasion, the family had told us that dad was an avid Arsenal football club supporter and they wished to have a red coloured coffin to match the club colours.

We were also able to have the Arsenal club crest engraved on the coffin. A truly unique nod to a life where football had played such a huge part of family life.

Our thanks to Steve Soult Limited for their help in crafting this. ❤️

Each and every funeral is unique.

We were asked to arrange a service for a Saturday morning as this the first request from the family when we met with them.

An alternative hearse was requested and the family had asked for a motorbike sidecar.

There are so many designs for coffins these days and we were tasked with arranging a green coloured design.

The gentleman who passed away used to serve in the Merchant Navy. The family had asked us to attach six brass shipping wheels to the coffin.

At the end of the service, mourners were able to walk up to the coffin and place their messages of love and memories on the brass wheels.

We truly do believe in going above and beyond and using our skillset to make sure the wishes and requests that are asked of us are met. ❤️

Please take a moment to listen to this interview.

We know both Emma and Mandeep and really are out to support them as much as possible with raising awareness of this World Record attempt.

It would be fantastic if any of our followers could get on board too and get tickets for the big day. ❤️

This was so lovely to see today for the funeral that we were entrusted with.

A signed Ipswich Town Football Club shirt adorned the coffin of a gentleman who was 100 years old and a loyal supporter of the Blues.

Having served in the Royal Navy during WW2, he had also been in combat on Sword Beach during the D-Day landings.

Absolutely amazing to hear his story. ❤️

There were wonderful scenes at Wembley on Thursday night as England and Wales players were joined by adult mascots for the first time.

The touching gesture saw the football stars accompanied by people living with dementia in moving scenes ahead of the friendly match.

The 22 selected supporters stepped out under the famous Wembley arch, standing next to the players as the anthems were sung to raise awareness of the devastating condition.

The idea was a collective effort between the FAW, English FA and the Alzheimer’s Society. ❤️
