Forget the diet hype-
there is a simple and sustainable
WaY
to keep your weight
under check forever.

It is wrong to think that we have lost our willpower- humans are creatures of automatic behaviour especially when effort levels are low. It is in our biology.
The powerful thing is that once we make aware of why we behave the way we do- we start making conscious choices. And that works for weight loss too 🙌

Please let me know what you make of this post as I am trying my best to simplify scientific literature but bring in a balanced way to you all. Our health and behaviours have too many variables and that makes our situation unique. It is possible one thing works for you and different for another person. Let’s not think that if something did not work for you then you failed - it just did not work and now you know. Don’t give up 🤗

If your stress levels are high or you feeling hopeless or even worse then please remember that you don’t have to deal with everything alone.

Please reach out to your family, friends, doctors or access CRISIS (if things are really crap)- you will be surprised - there are so many kind and supportive people out there and professionals help is more easily accessible on NHS (you can even self refer).

I feel grateful to everyone who have helped me with so many different stages and problems in life. Asking is the beginning of receiving 🙏

Are you struggling with good sleep and nothing online helps - 3 points to consider which I get thank me for 🙏

The struggle to get good sleep is very common and there is plenty of self help solutions available. But some still cannot achieve the solutions. Before I go into details a rule is made clear that the bedtime is reserved only for sleep and love/sex.

Now onto the 3 points
1. Know your chronotype - do you prefer morning/evening/neither? About 60% of us are ‘Neither’, rest are either Morning & Evening. The evening types are higher risk of sleep problems & resulting issues. It is because they are working against their internal biological clock.
2. suppressing your thoughts and feelings - and it only becomes obvious when you stop chores and the mind takes over. CBT insomnia is very successful and free on NHS.
3. Check for possible sleep apnoea- sleep apnoea is more common than we think. The loud snoring is not only affecting your partner but it potentially is affecting breathing during sleep & disrupting your sleep and cause of multiple health issues.
