The news headline today is - Hospitals facing unprecedented flu season, say NHS bosses

Meds2Home pharmacy still have a supply of flu vaccines available. Once they are gone we will not be able to get anymore.

Christmas is coming and families will be seeing each other in groups and going to parties etc. That’s a great way to spread flu!!

If you are eligible please come in and get protected as soon as you can. If you are not eligible we charge £16 for an injection privately.

It’s that time of year once again. We are again providing the flu and Covid vaccines to eligible patients.
The NHS have changed the eligible groups for an NHS covid vaccine this year, it is only available for patients who are over 75 or severely immunosuppressed.
We will also be providing a private Covid vaccine for anyone who wants one and is not in an eligible group.
The eligibility for flu vaccines is unchanged from previous years.
You can book online or phone 119 for the central booking line. Alternatively we will be providing a walk in service from the 8th October

The lease on our original Ford delivery van has finished so it was time for a replacement.
This time we have gone green and chosen a Ford eTransit Courier a fully electric van. With our constant stopping and starting it is ideal for us.
Here it is parked next to our other delivery van a Dacia Duster Commercial.
We are the only pharmacy in Ferndown which delivers prescriptions to anybody in the area. We need reliable vehicles.

Meds2Home pharmacy have a number of flu vaccines still available and are also a local walk-in centre for covid vaccinations.
Think about your family and friends and protect yourselves whilst we still have the vaccines available.

Meds2Home Pharmacy are looking for an extra delivery driver to join their team.
Applicants must have a clean driving licence and be able to obtain an enhanced DBS certificate if appointed.
We are looking for regular Mondays and Wednesdays plus a Friday once a month. In addition flexibility to cover other drivers sickness or holidays is necessary.

There is no need to travel out of Ferndown for your Covid and/or Flu vaccinations.
We are providing both of them at our convenient site within the Post Office in Victoria Road.
We are accepting bookings either by booking online or by phoning 119.
Tomorrow we will also be providing a walk in service from 9am to 2.30pm.
Next week we are providing the service every day Monday to Friday and although we have many bookings we are going to try and fit in walk-ins between them.

To be eligible you must be 75 or older or you must be severely immunosuppressed.
You don’t need an appointment just come in and see us between 9am and 5pm.

BOOKINGS OPENED TODAY

No need to travel to either St Leonard’s Hospital or Verwood if you live in Ferndown.

From next Monday onwards we will be accepting walk ins without an appointment.

Meds2Home Pharmacy within Ferndown Post Office will once again be providing the Covid-19 vaccines this spring.
As you can see from the post this is only available for those aged 75 and over or with a weakened immune system.
By being available in the centre of Ferndown we save you needing to travel to an out of town site.
You will be contacted if you are eligible for a jab with instructions on how to book. Just choose Meds2Home pharmacy when asked for a venue.
