Whether you’re looking for ongoing assistance from a full-time live-in carer or the flexibility of a visiting carer, we can provide the right level of support for you. From preparing meals and offering companionship, to personal care, medication administration and nurse led clinical care, the Home Care in Ferndown team are able to allow people to stay within their own homes and still receive the high quality care they need. Covering Ferndown, Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Highcliffe and the surrounding areas, the team are able to consistently provide support that meets the needs of our customers. They care for individuals who are living with conditions such as dementia, MS, an acquired brain injury, limited mobility and general frailties, and offer many different types of care calls, ranging from just 30 minutes a week to 24 hour live in care.

At Helping Hands, we love celebrating the incredible people who make a real difference every day. Today, we’re proud to share Adyanna’s story - one of passion, purpose, and a genuine commitment to person-centered care.

“Growing up, care was always part of my world. My Nana was a carer for the council, and my mum has worked in care for over a decade. Watching their dedication left a lasting impression on me. I started working in care just before turning 17, alongside my mum while still in college, and I haven’t looked back since.”

Adyanna joined Helping Hands in March 2024 at just 19 years old and has been making an incredible impact ever since.

“What I enjoy most is getting to know each client’s routine and personal preferences. There’s something incredibly meaningful about being able to brighten someone’s day - even more so knowing that we might be the only friendly face they see. That motivates me to always deliver the highest standard of person-centered care. Helping Hands is a fantastic company for people who genuinely care about making a difference and creating positive moments in others’ lives.”
