Residents were recently treated to a lively performance by the Fayrewood Choir, full of music, laughter, and toe-tapping moments. Some even tried to guess the next song!

A special highlight was seeing Linda, one of the singers and resident Peter’s wife, join in. Residents enjoyed sharing stories between songs, making it a fun and memorable afternoon.

The music left everyone smiling long after the choir had finished.

Residents recently enjoyed a fabulous Masquerade-themed Christmas Gala Lunch, complete with a three-course meal, piano music from Graham Bennett, and Swinging Sinatra filling the room with festive classics.

Laughter, song, and Christmas cheer made it a truly special day! 🎭🎹🎶

Residents had a wonderful visit to the Gifted Café in Highcliffe, run by our charity of the year, Stable Family Home Trust - Supporting adults with learning disabilities ☕💛

They enjoyed refreshments, chatted with the team about their inspiring projects, and admired the items they’ve created. Sue, on her first minibus trip, summed it up perfectly: “What a lovely trip!”

A brilliant confidence boost for Ali this week 🌱

After working with our physio students, he decided he wanted to mow the lawn — and he did an amazing job! The garden looks fantastic, and Ali proudly crowned himself “Head Groundskeeper” afterwards.

A wonderful moment of progress, pride, and a good bit of humour too.

Our residents recently enjoyed a relaxing nail pampering session 💛

Edna chose a soft, delicate pink, and while Sarah provided a gentle hand massage, careful shaping, and expert polish application, the conversation flowed with laughter and fond memories of past nail appointments with friends.

By the end of the session, Edna was delighted with her fresh nails and the attention to detail, leaving her feeling truly pampered and special.

The sea breeze at West Cliff nearly blew the biscuits right out of our hands, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying a good cup of tea with a view!

On one side, we could see Poole and Brownsea Island, and on the other, the piers, Hengistbury Head, and the Isle of Wight shining in the distance.

Our driver, Paul, became our unofficial tour guide, pointing out landmarks like a pro. His highlight of the day was the cliff face on the Isle of Wight — “Look there,” he said, “you can see a polar bear!”

All in all, it was a lovely outing — full of laughs, good company… and a polar bear!
