Ferndown team get to know each resident, including their needs, interests and tastes, tailoring their care and lifestyle plans to suit each individual. They carefully plan a wide range of group and one-to-one activities such as music sessions, outings and growing vegetables in the garden.

Our lovely residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon reminiscing and celebrating VE Day together. We spent time watching the classic Dad’s Army, sharing memories and conversations about the end of the war and the celebrations that followed❤️

To make the day even more special, everyone tucked into a delicious Victoria sponge cake and beautifully decorated cupcakes made by our amazing chef Endri🍰🧁

Day 5 of Staff Appreciation Week!❤️

Today our staff got to tuck into some delicious Domino’s pizza for lunch, with our night staff enjoying theirs for dinner too!🍕 Staff also continued to enjoy plenty of tasty treats and snacks from our treat corner throughout the day.

We have truly loved celebrating Staff Appreciation Week — it’s been such a special time for everyone to relax, have fun and feel appreciated for all of their hard work and dedication.
