We have had confirmation from the Barn Surgery that they have negotiated for the Covid clinic to return to the Baptist Church on 16th October from 1:30-4.30pm.
They will be running their seperate flu clinic at St Andrew’s Church on the same day at the same time. They have asked to remind everyone that you can only attend the flu clinic if you are a registered Barn Surgery patient, meeting the criteria for the vaccination.

An amber heat alert has been issued for Sussex until Wednesday at 6pm. While many of us enjoy warm weather, it can pose serious health risks.

Older people, babies and young children, those with long-term health conditions, and anyone living alone or in hard-to-cool homes are most at risk.

Make sure you:

🤝 Check in on friends, neighbours & loved ones
💧 Drink plenty of water
🏠 Keep your home as cool as possible
📱 Use NHS 111 online or by phone for advice.

We encourage all patients with the Barn Surgery, who haven’t already done so, to download the app. If you need the links to connect your records please contact the surgery (this can be done via eConsult or their website in the first instance)

Download the NHS App, or open the NHS website in a web browser, to set up and log in to your NHS account. Owned and run by the NHS, your NHS account is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services online.

When you find out you are pregnant, you can refer yourself for NHS pregnancy care so you start care with a midwife right away.

Once you sign up online, the maternity team will contact you to book your first appointment with a midwife.

You should do this by the 10th week of pregnancy, if possible, but it’s never too late to start. If you're over 10 weeks, refer yourself as soon as you can.
