🌞 The weather has been absolutely gorgeous over the past few days, we've been soaking up the sun in our shaded Courtyard area which is much cooler than the garden at the moment! We've been having a blast playing games like Tin Can Alley and Connect Four, absolutely loved blowing bubbles to each other, staff provided a lovely ice- cream station and we even enjoyed listening to Elvis together! its been so lovely 🌞

🌞 It has been so lovely today to get ourselves outside in the sunshine and enjoy a lovely BBQ together! Lovely food with lovely company.🌞

We have had a fabulous fun filled day of activities today! We enjoyed making various models out of clay this morning. This afternoon we have enjoyed playing Bingo together. It was particularly lovely to spend some one to one time outside with Cathy chatting about the beautiful flowers and time with Wilf looking at photos of him from the past and hearing him reminiscing...my what a handsome chap he is!!!

🍕🍕 It's National Pizza Day!🍕🍕
So of course we've celebrated! We have had such a fun and lovely time making our own pizza's today, was lovely having family members join in too. The pizza's tasted delicious and were enjoyed by all!

This afternoon we enjoyed some one to one time with our fabulous Anne! Listening to her read is always wonderful♥️ Other residents enjoyed a spontaneous visit from some members of our local church, a lovely quiz and then a sing along which was enjoyed by all ! Yesterday John, Norman and Kevin enjoyed a look out to watch our local Line Dancing club!

🇬🇧 VE celebrations at Denehurst today 🇬🇧

The weather let us down, so it was full throttle changing our plans for an indoor BBQ and a lovely quiz this afternoon! ☔🌭🧠

This morning we looked through a ration book, talking about what meals we would have eaten during the war years, and enjoyed watching a World War 2 movie together 🎞️📖

Another lovely day filled with memories, laughter and togetherness ❤️

A huge thank you to our amazing staff who stepped in and saved the day — teamwork at its best 👏🇬🇧

A wonderful trip out today for lunch at Fox Cub-Spennymoor ! We had a lovely relaxed lunch together, enjoying fabulous food with lots of chatter and the odd tipple! 🦊❤️

Today as been such a lovely day! This morning we've enjoyed some 1:1 chair based exercises, Wilf particularly enjoyed this commenting how his exercises are important and reminiscing about his Cricket playing days❤️ This afternoon we've enjoyed a session of arts and crafts, using different mediums and array of textures to create some amazing art depicting our Trees in blossom 🌸 ❤️🌱
