According to the National Institute on Aging, the risk of falling increases with age and more than 1 in 4 people age 65 years or older fall each year.
Falling is ๐ก๐ข๐ง a natural part of growing older and most falls can be prevented.
There are lots of things you can do to reduce the risk of falls such as:

Keeping active, gentle exercise and getting out and about

Keep up with vision and hearing tests

Ensure your home is clear of trip hazards

Make sure to wear good shoes and seek help for painful foot problems
โ
Tell your doctor if you think medication is making you dizzy
โ
Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated
