🚨 Important Service Update from Think Stairlifts 🚨
Dear Customers,
Effective immediately, we are withdrawing our 24-hour response service due to a significant increase in verbal abuse directed at our staff.
Our new service hours are strictly Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
There will be no evening or weekend call-outs under any circumstances.
Warranty Terms and Call-Out Policy
Our warranty strictly covers mechanical parts failure only. It does not cover:
• Damage caused by falls or accidents
• Units installed by third parties, even if our branding is present
• Misuse, such as kicking the carriage or dislodging the digital display
• Damage caused by other mobility equipment interfering with the lift’s safety edges
🚨 LEAVING THE LIFT OFF CHARGE! CARERS AND CLEANERS UNPLUGGING LIFT 🚨
Call-outs resulting from these issues will be chargeable. No service or repair will be carried out unless outstanding balances are settled in full.
Please note: We do not service, repair, or honour warranties on units installed by other companies.
Warranty Duration and Extension
Our standard warranty period is 12 to 18 months. A reminder letter is sent one month before expiration.
🚨 Effective immediately, we are revoking the 1-month grace period due to ongoing abuse of this courtesy. We offered this buffer as a sign of goodwill, but it has unfortunately been taken advantage of. 🚨
If your lift is out of warranty and a part fails, repairs will be chargeable. Abuse toward our team in such circumstances will not be tolerated.
