Supported by carefully chosen music to support our experience and with gentle invitation, we shall move and dance through the 6 phases associated with the early developing self from pre-birth to around 5 years.
We begin and close with a circle to create and close our ritual space to honour our experience(s) personally and as a whole. Practiced regularly Dance of Awareness can be a resource for continuing well being on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels.
The six phases are...
Sensing - the body and arriving into 'being'.
Grounding - coming into contact with the world around us.
Expressing - discovering shapes and patterns waiting to form.
Releasing - working on letting go of patterns that no longer serve.
Connecting - exploring connections with ourselves & others.
Completion - honouring what is required to bring completion to our processes and unify our experiences.
I am an experienced & licensed Dance of Awareness™ facilitator, having completed the training in 2016 with the creators of this amazing experience: dance movement therapist Clare Osbond and body pysco-therapist Tim Brown.
