A week ago, I climbed Ben Nevis with a band brothers on the CMD Arete route.

I’m smiling here which may betray the fact that it was one of the most physically demanding days I’ve had in recent memory.

No matter how hardcore you may “think” you are, you need rest for your body and mind. It took me quite a few years to figure this out. Now I make sure I book time to do “nothing” , to regenerate and get nourishment. Yin Yang baby.
