While the roof is being replaced I’ve taken sanctuary at the library. I took the time to check in with the fortune fish and I got the most accurate reading of “go back to Iona”. Honestly it’s never been so on point 😂
I had the most magical 4 days away on the island, I will share pictures soon. I’m updating my diary today so will post that over the next few days.

Yesterday was our wedding anniversary. I don’t know if it’s because we eloped to the Isle of Skye but we never seem to remember until my mother in law messages us.
So here’s a nod to the man who has supported every decision I’ve made from leaving a 10 year career in retail, to training in a touch therapy during a global pandemic, starting a wild swimming business with my pal and then training as a swimming teacher. Happy Anniversary, I can’t promise there won’t be any more crazy ideas along the way.

Just a quick update, the new roof is being put on the cottage this week then I’m off to Iona on Thursday. I will be back to work on Monday the 23rd. So until then I will be working my way through my home made Mother’s Day chocolate cake.
