Hand therapy is a specialised type of rehabilitation focused on the hands, wrists, elbows, and forearms.

Hand therapy helps people recover from:
🖐️ Injuries (fractures, sprains, tendon or nerve damage)
🖐️ Surgery (post-operative rehab)
🖐️ Repetitive strain/tendonitis
🖐️ nerve entrapment such as carpal tunnel syndrome
🖐️ Arthritis and other chronic conditions
🖐️ Congenital differences or deformities

Treatment may include:
✅ Exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion
✅ Manual therapy and soft tissue techniques
✅ Custom splints or braces
✅ Pain management techniques
✅ Education on injury prevention and daily activity modifications

The goal of hand therapy is to help patients restore function, reduce pain, and return to work, hobbies, and daily life.
