Happy Mother’s Day 💚

Here’s my mum in the middle… laughing because she’s standing on a step behind us so she looks taller than me and my brother.

For context: I’m 5ft 9 and my brother’s 6ft.

Mums have many talents - unconditional love, endless patience… and the ability to find the nearest step when a photo is about to be taken 😄

Wishing a very Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mums, grandmothers, step-mums and mother figures out there today.

💚 Happy International Women’s Day - Tag your hero in comments

There are so many inspiring women around me, but today I'd like to shine a light on Julia Moffett of Fishguard - someone who truly walks the talk when it comes to caring for our planet.

Julia has volunteered for many local sustainability and conservation projects including Sea Trust Wales, Greening Fishguard & Goodwick, and Transition Bro Gwaun, helping protect nature and build a greener future.

On Friday, at very short notice, she joined Lloyd Nelmes and other Sea Trust staff and volunteers and was first on the scene, to clear boat wreckage from the shore at Lower Town, Fishguard before plastic and fibreglass could pollute the sea.

Julia has also been a long-time supporter of New Dawn, regularly refilling her litre bottles at our Fishguard workshop - something we absolutely love to see!

Today we simply want to say:

💚 Thank you Julia - you inspire us.
