What if your anger isn't the problem? 🔴

Women's anger is rarely validated. We are taught to be ‘nice’, ‘easygoing’, or ‘calm’ from a young age. As we grow up, we come to be more harshly judged for expressing our anger.

But Rebel Girls Club embraces anger, and we want you to have a safe space where you can convey your genuine emotions. On 30th April, we will be holding 'Rage on the Page', an online event that invites you to explore your inner rage.

What are women's circles and why are they important today? From Africa to Europe to North America, women have long gathered in circles honour the cycles of the moon, the seasons, and fertility. These circles came to serve as spaces for bonding, healing, and creating a sense of belonging. Women's circles have survived despite suppression, and today this ancient practice continues to be used to bring women together, build connections, and promote empowerment.

Throwback to International Women’s day a few weeks ago to when some of our volunteers spent the day with bristolwomensvoice at City Hall to spread awareness of Rebel Girls Club and to build connections with other communities.

The theme for the event was connection and common ground which was very much felt throughout the event. It was inspiring to hear the stories shared and to be able to share our own.

We hope to see some of you at our Spring block events in the coming weeks to keep the momentum going!

🌱🌱 Self-Compassion has been sold to us as solely softness, self-care aesthetics and personal responsibility.

But in a world that profits from women and marginalised people being exhausted, ashamed and endlessly self-improving, real self-compassion is not cute- it's disruptive.

❤️ At RGC we are all about practicing Self-Compassion in ways that actually change and nourish our nervous systems, our self-talk and our relationship to pressure.
Not by pretending things don't hurt.
Not by bypassing anger, grief or burnout.

But by learning how to stop turning systemic stress into personal failure.
It's bloody hard and we are by no means gurus or gatekeepers by having all the answers.

You don't need to be more positive.
We all need safer internal conditions to exist, feel, rest, set boundaries and stay in our own stories.

We're Rebel Girls Club and we are working tirelessly to create real, raw and collective spaces for mental health, resilience, self - celebration, power & connection.
