There are moments in our lives when the world feels still, but within that stillness something deeper stirs. The Capricorn Full Moon on July 10, 2025, is one of those moments, a high point of sacred witnessing where our soul’s steady efforts are illuminated under the silvery glaze of the Full Moon.
This lunation asks us to pause and look back at how far we’ve come in order to integrate all we’ve learned on our path thus far.
Capricorn reminds us that maturity is not found in hardness or rigidity, but within the cultivation of inner resilience. It’s not about wearing a mask of strength, but revealing the earned wisdom that comes from enduring.
This particular Full Moon is calling us to check in with our sacred vows, both to ourselves and to those whom we walk beside. What promises are we ready to renew, and which are we finally ready to release?
We are invited to cross a karmic threshold – a space for endings and beginnings. This Full Moon is a wise elder, inviting us to sit beside her – to listen, to reflect, to renew our sacred vows.

Saturn retrogrades in Pisces on July 12th until the end of November, creating a deep emotional body clean up. The ancestors are asking you to show up, pay attention, and do the emotional work necessary for lineage healing. This is a powerful time to strengthen your relationship with your ancestors and do your grief work. Have you grieved enough? Retrograde Saturn encourages clean up of bones, spine, structure, old and ancient things, grief. Saturn loves yoga, meditation, physical body strength, all things that come from the earth, and integrity. Put in the work and you will get the results.
Mercury retrogrades in Cancer on July 18th until August 11th. Mind and emotions ask you to awaken your boundaries, heart wisdom, and emotional body intelligence. There will be another layer of emotional body clean up taking place in tandem with Saturn retrograde this month.
These two water signs are creating an invitation to feel more. Use this cycle to listen to your emotional body and let it move, release, flow. Mercury loves to clean up matters of the mind, nervous system, communication, creativity, and abundance.
This Full Moon and Guru Purnima occur in Purvashada nakshatra and Sagittarius. This constellation is ruled by Apas, the water goddess. The Full Moon brings a special blessing of wisdom, nourishment and protection. Guru Purnima, the “full moon of the guru,” honours all teachers, gurus and guides, as well as the inner guru within your heart.
On this Full Moon, take a moment to remember whatever has guided, nourished or protected you in your life journey.
Purva Ashadha, the “Invincible Star,” is symbolised by an elephant tusk. This area of the sky is connected to the elephant-headed god, Ganesha, who is revered as the Remover of Obstacles.
This Full Moon brings a positive momentum and is a good day to make plans and launch projects. A direct aspect (dristi) of Jupiter brings an extra blessing to this expansive Full Moon, however, action must be paired with discernment, as the days following the full moon introduce a complex web of planetary shifts.
Use the coming weeks to tap your resources, and transform darkness into light. Allow yourself to be washed clean. Purify, awaken, seek transformation and renewal through your emotional body.
Allow your inner waters to wash your heart clean, your inner temple. Clear and organise your home space, your outer temple.
Bring more sattva (lightness) to your environment. Allow Spirit to be a resource for gathering clarity, wisdom and support while setting intentions for your health, life and soul’s purpose for the coming cycles.
Go slow, be gentle with yourselves and others. Relationships are a powerful source of healing in the cycle ahead- especially the relationship with yourself. Love yourself enough to tenderly care for your inner and outer needs through respect, clarity and intention.
Despite any challenging planetary influences, Guru Purnima Full Moon is a window of expansion and hope.
To those who have been a beacon of light for others:
Guru Brahma,
Guru Vishnu,
Guru devo Maheshwara,
Guru sakshat, param Brahma,
tasmai shri guravay namah.
Guru is the creator, sustainer and the destroyer.
It is the transcendental divinity,
the timeless life-principle, the very essence of the creator.
I make my offering to the Guru, the auspicious remover of my darkness and my ignorance;
My salutations of gratitude for that glorious teacher.
— A prayer from the Guru Gita
in the Skanda Purana (6th-15th century AD)
We have been moving through an extremely transformative passage and whatever experiences have unfolded for each of us they have brought us to a new place…
Capricorn embodies our elder wisdom which guides us to stay in alignment with our Soul….
There are seeds of love taking root, slowly unfurling within us - and so our task is to keep grounding in the rich soil of our earth, our bodies and our rituals, so that we can fortify our nervous systems and strengthen our channels of light…
