I’ve always loved watching gymnastics since I was little.
Simone Biles has inspired generations of people with her athletic achievements but also with her openness about her mental health.
I love this quote from her and it resonates with a lot of work I do with individuals. We seem to have set ourselves these life goals which are fine in themselves - but we also need to teach ourselves how to manage disappointment and setbacks.
Letting go of a notion that we are ‘supposed’ to be at a certain point in our lives at a certain age can be truly liberating.

It's really important as a therapist that I continually assess and build on my training to ensure that I can be the best possible therapist for my clients.

Working in a secondary school led me to train as a therapist.
I like this saying but I prefer…
“There are no problem children, only children who need help to understand what’s going on in their world”.
