What's involved in my 'Kicking Koalas' Mum and Baby Yoga classes? 💕
The classes are fun and sensory based for the babies and involve a relaxation for the mum's, a section on baby yoga and then gentle stretches, yoga poses and movement specifically designed for you and baby to do together. (no previous yoga experience needed) The classes can help to gently strengthen, tone and improve flexibility after having a baby but you can stretch as much or as little as you like and each move can be adapted to make it suitable for babys age.
My Mum and Baby Yoga classes have an emphasis on child development, bonding and attachment, relaxation and safely stretch and strengthen baby's muscles to support baby's overall development.
Baby Yoga can also help with poor muscle tone and tight ligaments and help to calm a fractious baby and a baby suffering with Colic/tummy troubles.
My next block of Mum and baby yoga classes will start after the summer school holidays on Thursday 18th September. The classes are suitable for babies once they have had their GP check up to pre-walking and are held at 11.50am- 12.35pm on Thursdays at The Holy Trinity Church Hall on Bowenhurst Road in Church Crookham, Fleet and booked as a block of five consecutive classes at a time. Please get in touch through Facebook messenger, whatsApp, email or Instagram to reserve your place.
