At Durham House Chiropractic, we offer custom FootBalance Sports orthotics as part of our Orthotics range. These are heat-moulded insoles designed to match the shape and function of your feet, rather than being a generic off-the-shelf insert. They combine arch support with impact cushioning to remain supportive and comfortable during sports.

By helping to distribute load more evenly through the foot, they can reduce strain on structures such as the plantar fascia, achilles tendon, and even the knees. For active individuals, this often translates to improved comfort, better stability, and reduced fatigue over longer periods of activity.

They’re most appropriate if you’re dealing with recurring foot or lower limb symptoms, increasing your training load, or notice uneven wear patterns on your footwear. They can be a useful tool when combined with appropriate footwear and a structured strength and rehab approach.
