We took our Ostara (Spring Equinox) walk at the weekend as we continue our journey round the Wheel of The Year.

This picture shows from bottom to top how the light is getting brighter each turn of the wheel.

Our next walk is to celebrate Beltane (May Day) on Friday 1st of May. We are usually back by about 9.30 if you can start work a little later.

Yoga or Pilates?

For a long time, I thought I had to choose one.

Yoga feels like coming home to yourself. It’s slow, grounding, deeply connected to breath. It stretches not only your body, but your mind. It teaches patience, balance, and peace. Some days, that’s exactly what I need — to sit, breathe, and simply be.

Pilates feels different. Strong. Focused. Intentional. It challenges my core, improves my posture, and reminds me how powerful my body truly is. It’s less about stillness and more about control and precision.

But here’s the truth — it’s not about which is better.

It’s about what your body and soul need today.

Some days you need softness.
Some days you need strength.
Both are beautiful. Both are valid.

Listen to your body. It always knows the way.

A weekly class designed for children who need more than movement they need imagination, rhythm, and a place where they are truly held.
Taught by a fully trained yoga teacher, birth doula & Hypnobirthing teacher,
this is where playful movement meets ancient storytelling and nervous-system wisdom.
