Routine vaccination against MenB was introduced in 2015 for babies and young children, so children born after 1 May 2015 will already have received the vaccine at their 8 weeks, 12 weeks and 1-year appointments. And is not currently available on the NHS for adults.
Due to the recent outbreak in Kent, we are awaiting further guidance from Public Health England, but at this time we are unable to offer the MenB vaccination.
For older children/young adults, the routine vaccine is Meningitis ACWY, which is usually given in school (age14-18). If you missed this vaccination, we can offer an appointment for anyone up to age 25 For the Men ACWY.
We will update you if anything changes
