We are a point of contact for the Community, supporting residents to improve their health & wellbeing

The Healthier Fleetwood initiative which was set up in Summer 2016 to positively address issues affecting the long-term health and wellbeing of those living in the Town. We provide a forum for ideas to emerge from the Community, CONNECTING residents and encouraging them to take CONTROL of their health and wellbeing, and by growing in self-CONFIDENCE to lead healthier and happier lives.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆.

Tomorrow in the Heart of The Hub cafe ... a fun drawing technique for people who think they cant draw! This will be a quiet, practical and mindful workshop. Paper and pens provided. Also tomorrow, the weekly arts & crafts session at Strive Fleetwood from 10am - 12noon. The group try a variety of activities like making book-folded hedgehogs. Free to attend , free craft materials and free tea/coffee and toast.

Fleetwood Library hosts many arts & crafts sessions - you can find out more on the Friends of Fleetwood Library page and 'Just Be' is an evening group meeting at Fleetwood Methodist Church.

A couple of activities and events in the community for Armed Forces Veterans ... the new fitness and wellbeing group with Fleetwood Gym Amateur Boxing Club and a dance and social session with Tia's Crown.

𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 Ron's Run Fleetwood 2026 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲.

Now in it’s third year, this is a fundraising funrun with a difference … the entry ‘fee’ is a donation of food to The Pantry Food Bank - Fleetwood.

Bring along non-perishable food items to the collection point on Fleetwood Promenade close to Marine Hall ahead of the start at 11am, then join the 1 mile run/jog/walk/push with your family and friends.

There’s no pre-registration, just turn up on the day. All levels of fitness and ages welcome - children under 16 to be accompanied by an adult.

Ron's Run was started by Luke Helmn in memory of his father, a much-loved athletics coach working across the Fylde Coast.

After some successful taster sessions, Walking Touch Rugby is now on EVERY Wednesday evening at Fleetwood RUFC. Full details in the attached.

Just along from he library is the new Coastal Chapter book and coffee shop, which opened this week. We've not had a chance to call in yet but it looks like a great place to meet, eat/drink and read!

'Connect Well Live Well Together in Wyre', takes place on Tuesday 19th May at The Manor & Community Hub, Manor Drive, Cleveleys.

The Dementia Wellbeing Event is also on the 19th, from 10am - 12noon At the grange Blackpool.
