Celebrating Our Cherished Memories with Luke and Hayley 🌟

πŸ’™ Luke's Favourite Memory πŸ’™

Luke's standout memory of the year was the "PIP Space Trek," which he organised and successfully completed in July. Alongside a group of Office Staff, Support Workers, Parents/Carers, and Young People, Luke walked nearly 19 miles from Bispham to The Space Centre in Preston, all to raise funds for the Play Inclusion Project. It was a fantastic day, and together, we raised a remarkable £1,672.90! 🀩

πŸ’š Hayley's Favourite Memory πŸ’š

Hayley's treasured memory took place in October when our Wyre Groups were honoured with the Wyre Moving Award for Inclusion & Diversity in 2025. This award was a wonderful recognition of the hard work put in by our Area Managers and Support Workers in Wyre. For Hayley, this achievement is particularly meaningful, as she has dedicated over thirteen years to the Play Inclusion Project, showcasing her commitment to the charity. Meeting the original parent who founded the charity was the cherry on top 🫢

Our Story

We offer leisure and recreational activities for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities. Our weekly activities are for 6-18 year olds and include youth clubs, ten pin bowling and a session at The Space Centre in Preston. We are excited to announce that in November we will be launching a swimming club at Fleetwood YMCA. We also deliver a Life Skills Project for 18-25 year olds and Activity Clubs during school holiday periods. We recruit volunteers from local colleges, universities and the wider community to provide support to the children and young people who attend our activities.

We are a registered charitable organisation based in Fleetwood and are funded by Local Authorities, local businesses, personal donations and in-house fund raising. We help children and young people with additional needs and disabilities to enjoy a fuller and more meaningful life and provide much needed respite for parents and carers. We operate in and around Blackpool, Preston, Fylde and Wyre.
