It may have been a very rainy week, but that hasn’t stopped us from getting out and about! ☔️✨

Residents at Twyford House Care Home enjoyed the most wonderful trip to the World of Wedgwood!

Many of the residents were amazed to discover such a fascinating place right on our doorstep, and the museum’s stories and craftsmanship truly captivated everyone.

At Lovett, we know how important it is to feel part of the wider world, not apart from it. These experiences create memories, open new conversations, and keep life feeling full of adventure.

A former dressmaker for her mother’s fashion company, Pauline has always had an eye for style. She’s known for her love of jewellery, bright colours, and elegant outfits, and she never fails to look beautiful in her clothes and pearls. ✨

Her unique flair reminds us that care isn’t just about support; it’s about celebrating the people who make our homes so special. 🌟

Every resident adds something extraordinary to our community, and Pauline’s vibrant personality is a perfect example of why life at Lovett is full of colour, warmth, and individuality.

Festive fun at Gordale Garden Centre 🎄 Our residents loved browsing the Christmas decorations, and we couldn’t resist rounding the trip off with tea and cake. ☕

We’re really flying high at the moment, not just with our new website launch, but because last week, residents from Ruddington Manor Care Home literally were! 🚁💙

Ruddington Manor entered a competition with Myley after sharing that one of their residents had a helicopter ride on their bucket list.

On Tuesday, 11.11.25, we commemorated Remembrance Day with a heartfelt service led by our local Vicar, Rob.

While we chose not to take photos to respect our residents’ prayer time, we wanted to share our prayer cards and order of service as a reflection of this meaningful occasion.

We also observed a minute’s silence to honour and remember all who served. 🌺

On Monday, we were delighted to welcome the children from Maes Hyfred School. They entertained us with their wonderful singing and signing, and we all joined in.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Rhiwlas 🎄✨

We’re getting ready for our Christmas Fair on Friday, 28th November, from 2:30 pm to 4 pm, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you all.

A very special Sunday at Rhiwlas 💐

While we couldn’t attend the parade this year, the parade came to us! We were honoured to welcome the crew of RNLI Flint Lifeboat, who brought the Lifeboat and shared the Remembrance experience with us.

Our residents were thrilled to present them with small gifts featuring the Flanders Field poem.

A touching moment for our resident Avril, who was presented with a photograph and a beautiful silk scarf in recognition of her wartime service. A heartfelt thank you to the Flint Lifeboat Crew for making the day so meaningful. ❤️

On Tuesday, we were delighted to welcome our local Vicar, Kathryn Hall, supported by the lovely Rob, for our monthly Holy Communion Service. 🙏

Out of respect for our residents, we don’t photograph the service, but we want to say a heartfelt Thank You and God Bless to Kathryn as she moves to her new parish in Ruthin. We wish her lots of luck, she’s been a wonderful support to Rhiwlas over the years.
