My favourite season is pushing its way through the damp, and the rain. A time of renewal - I love how spring feels like the start of something new!
Blue skies, spring flowers, birds tweeting away…
Here’s to longer days, brighter skies and beautiful spring sunshine!

Listening - that is probably the most important part of what I do. When delivering a service you see the finished product - the delivery. But making a service truly reflect a loved one means taking everything in.
What a kind five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Google review. This service was delivered alongside the wonderful team at J C Clarke Funeral Directors.

I’ve returned to work this week after a bit of R&R and it is lovely to be back supporting families.

On the mend and working from home 🏡.
After taking a bit of time off for a minor op on my foot, I’m back to it - meeting family’s online before I’m driving again next week and back in chapel.
While taking time off and resting body and mind is important, I’m pleased to be back doing what I do and looking after families 💛.

A very special review from a family I will always hold close to my heart.
When working with a family, I sometimes feel that I become part of their circle for the short time I am supporting them to create a service for their loved one. It is a heavy but humbling feeling when I’m asked to support them again. Heavy knowing that their grief multiplies, but humbling to be asked to be part of their circle once more.
Being there to listen, support, and do my best for my families, it’s a privilege like no other. Working alongside wonderful teams like J C Clarke Funeral Directors to support families in their time of need. 💛

A gorgeous picture from my weekend wandering round Llyn Geirionydd, blowing away the cobwebs and enjoying the great outdoors.
There’s nothing better than being out in nature to give my mind and body a reset.

Taking time to listen, advise, reassure and to get things right. Being a calm presence when things feel in chaos. This very kind review highlights these elements that are so important in my job.
What an honour to lead the Celebration of Life service for this gentleman who was so loved by his family and friends. A real honour.

This year began with a very sweet service this morning. The family didn’t feel that a big service at the crematorium was fitting, as the gentleman liked to keep things calm and low key.
They opted for a smaller scale service, and used the funeral directors in house chapel. There was a small gathering of family and the service was gentle and calm, but with a bit of rock music - just what the deceased would have wanted.
Every Celebration of Life Ceremony I lead is unique, just as every person is unique. From dancing in the chapel, to the gentle calm that was required today.
At the turn of the year I not only look back on the many different lives honoured in 2025, but I look towards continuing to make a difference this year.
Celebrating, remembering and honouring - that’s what I do. 💛
