Happy Easter Monday 🐣🌸

Today our residents had lots of Easter fun! Everyone enjoyed opening their little eggs filled with chocolate surprises 🍫🐰 and there were plenty of smiles while posing with our Easter Bunny and our Easter face frame 📸💛

A lovely day full of laughter, treats, and special moments shared together. 🐣

What a cracking afternoon we had today as our residents gathered for some eyes down, Easter inspired bingo fun! 🎉
A big round of applause to our one line winners - Bob, Pat & Jean 👏 and an extra cheer for our full house champions - Rosemary, Susan, and Bob again (someone was definitely on a winning streak today! 😂🏆).
There was laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of Easter cheer all around. It truly was a lovely afternoon filled with fun, smiles, and wonderful memories made together. 💛

Easter time and we got creative and whipped up some delicious Rice Krispie treats using chocolate, marshmallows, Rice Krispies, and colourful rainbow drops! 🍫🌈
Our residents truly brought out their inner chefs, getting hands on, sharing laughs, and enjoying every sticky, chocolatey moment. It was a fantastic afternoon filled with fun, teamwork, and plenty of sweet treats to enjoy together, a perfect way to celebrate the Easter season! 🐣

Just when you think you’ve eaten too much chocolate why not set your sights on winning one of our Easter Baskets. We will be selling raffle tickets until next weekend and on Monday 13th April we will be announcing the winners. £1.00 each with all the proceeds going towards our Residents Comfort Fund. This morning our residents enjoyed a lovely “Little & Wise” group session, joining in with nursery rhymes they remember so well 🎶 It was wonderful to see so many smiles, laughter, and familiar songs bringing everyone together.

In the afternoon, we got our hands a little messy in Gardening Club 🌱 Residents planted a variety of seeds including mint, parsley, tomatoes, and radish. We then placed them carefully into the greenhouse, ready to nurture and watch them grow.

A fantastic day filled with music, memories, and meaningful activities 💚

Does anyone have a connection with a farm or a petting place where they are bottle feeding lambs. This is an enquiry to see if anyone out in the community would be able to bring a lamb into our home for our residents to meet and possibly feed. We would love to be able to travel to facilitate this however some of our residents are nursed in bed. Yesterday we held our annual
Coutry Court Oscars at Baycroft and the attendance was amazing. On entering guests were given VIP wrist bands and as they walked the red carpet which was adorned by stars they took their seats and sat waiting to hear the winners. Every resident in the home received an award from the Funkiest Duvet Man to the Best Wife. Golden Oscars were given out to those lucky winners of more than one nomination and staff were also celebrated from Best Carer to Most Glamorous Staff Member. After the ceremony we ended the celebrations with a sing along, canapés, fruit punch or a glass of fizz 🥂 🍾 Thank you to all those who attended and well done to everyone involved ⭐️

THANK YOU to all our Facebook followers for helping us achieve 3k followers. Having the interaction with our home and our followers means so much to us. We regularly have a Facebook catch up with our residents and it is so lovely to see their faces as they see themselves on a big screen, it also helps as a reminder to what they have been getting up to.
