This is it, the start of the 2025 event season and with a new season comes a new charity we will be fundraising for.
This year we are raising money for Dementia UK. Heidi will be doing a running challenge in memory of her gran, Molly Cook-Abbott, who passed away from the illness in 2015. A link to her Just Giving page has been attached.
We will also be collecting donations on the events we are covering.

This is a bit late, but what can I say about 2024… busy, stressful and amazing.
This has been the busiest that the MCA team have been, but we made it through and are working on 2025!
But we would not have been able to do it without the help of them amazing family of hardworkers that we have. Every single person who has worked on an event, stepped up to help on a last minute job or even just offered their time. They all have our sincerest thanks and best wishes for the new year.
Others have joined the family and have started to settle in with us, unfortunately people have left the family, but will always be welcome back.
Now we look forward to 2025 and see what the year brings us!

I have finally gotten around to calculating the total we raised for PTSD UK and showing the result of the hair roulette all the way back in June!
Thank you to everyone who donated to our fundraiser and helped us raise £430!
£110 was donated online with the other £320 raised in cash (this has now been donated to PTSD UK)
Once again a massive thank you to everyone who donated and Wren Hair for the amazing job you did!

As we start June (PTSD Awareness Month) we would like to remind everyone that we are raising money for PTSD UK. We have collection pots along with an online donations page so if you see us at events and would like to make a donation please come and say hello.

We don’t normally do an after event post, but after this weekend a thank you is needed for the two crew members who worked with Mark and myself at the Foodies Festival in Cardiff!
The event was far from a normal event, from treating more people in one day than we normally do over an entire weekend to running out of blister plasters because of the sheer amount that we saw. The crew took it in stride without complaints and worked hard to keep everything running smoothly. Well done and thank you to the other crew members, hope you enjoy your downtime.

Quick update, an amazing member of the team has joined our fundraising efforts! The target is been doubled to £500! If we reach this target then we will both be taking part in the hair roulette challenge!
As always any and all donations are appreciated and even sharing the link is a big help. PTSD can affect anyone and it’s important to help bring awareness and educate people about it.

The fundraising page for PTSD UK is up and live! Their mission is to educate and bring awareness to PTSD and C-PTSD and break the stereotypes around it all. I’m sure we all know someone who has suffered with PTSD or has been/is suffering through it yourself.

As said in a previous post I will be doing a personal fundraiser for them along side taking donation with the company at all our events this year.

The target is £250 and if I reach this target then I will be doing the hair roulette challenge (a link has been posted on the page for an example of hair roulette). Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.

Looks like we’re all set and ready to go, all just in time for the Foodies Festival in Brighton.

We have also been given the good news that we have permission to put out collection pots to raise money for PTSD UK! More details will be out soon about our fundraiser so keep an eye out for that.

Look forward to working with a lot of the team again and seeing everyone at the events

It’s that time of the year again when we lose our living room to our kit, preparing for the event season ahead.

Officially starting today with helping covering Wimpole Estate Easter Bank Holiday, we start our season.

Shopping list written, staffing organised and fundraiser in final preparations, we are looking good. If you see us at any event please come and say hi, we love meeting people at the events we cover

It’s looking like a busy event season for us this year! 14 Foodies Festivals, 2 pride events, horse events through the summer and covering bank holidays at Wimpole Estate Trust. We will also be back up in Edinburgh for the Cocktail Festival in October!

We are also proud to help cover events for our own town council as well as supporting PTSD UK this year as well so keep an eye out for updates on that.
