Covid 19 Booster vaccination campaign Spring 2023
“Don’t wait to be invited” book now.
The Seasonal Booster: Spring 2023 campaign for Covid 19 and a Primary course offer for individuals yet to complete their first course of Covid vaccinations, is just about to start!
Total Health Excellence Primary Care Networks in Folkestone and Dover have established vaccination teams to ensure that the groups who will really benefit from a booster vaccination can get one: -
• Anyone over 75 years
• Anyone over 5 years old who is immunosuppressed.
• A resident living in a care home for older adults over 65
It is highly advised that people in these groups get their much-needed boosters while the spring programme is in progress ready to enjoy a well-protected summer season. If you are in one of the eligible groups – do not wait to be invited, you will need to phone 119 to book an appointment or go online to book.
The clinics will be open on specific days every week from April 17 until June 30..
In Dover the vaccination clinic will be Pencester Surgery, where there is easy access from the Pencester Road entrance, and all rooms are on ground level. Check on line or phone 119 for clinic times
In Folkestone the vaccination clinics will be held at Folkestone Invicta Football ground, an easy access site in Cheriton Road, Folkestone, with good parking facilities and a bus stop just outside. These clinics will be open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, Check on line or phone 119 for available times.
Anyone who is eligible can book an appointment by dialling 119, or they can book online using the NHS Covid 19 booking site. appointment

It will be possible for people to walk into any of the venues and ask for a vaccination, but obviously priority will be given to those with a booked appointment.
