Spent the last part of my day updating my well used phrase " like a snail to a rocket"
Up until now i have bought this one into play when the overlay choice has enabled a student to actually see the print to use the known strategies to read.
The lad today completely exceeded that

Look at this breathe taking delicacy in a beautiful tropical tank.
Not everyone sees this detail however and it's not because they have poor vision.
Irlen syndrome causes distortion. An Irlen sufferer may only see in 2D.
I gained pleasure looking at this tank!

For people I know and have screened, without their Irlen filters looking at this would cause migraine and intense discomfort/pain.

Busy day tomorrow back to back 4 Irlen screenings at a secondary school that I have been to before. Back again for another 4 at beginning of next school term.
Took a friends advice and came up today so I can get a stress free start with a leisurely breakfast first

Screening takes around 1.5 hours and includes a written report.
