• Reduce Pain & Inflammation
• Promote Circulation (which aids the healing process)
• Re-establish Normal Muscle Function & Posture
• Improve / Restore Range of Movement and Flexibility
• Speed-Up Recovery after Injury / Operation
Sports Massage: Is a specialist area that applies similar techniques and principles in a way that best meets the specific needs of the athlete. It is beneficial to all who participate in sporting activities, from beginners to elite athletes & is relevant at various stages of training or participation, whether that is during:
• A Specific Training Phase
• Pre – During - Post Competition
• Injury Prevention or Injury Recovery
The techniques used in sports massage will vary, depending on your issue or needs, whether this is to:
• Maintain Muscle Condition
• Prevent / Manage an Injury
• Promote Muscle Balance
Kinesiology Tape: Differs from other types of strapping tape in both form and function. Most types of strapping tape are non-elastic, and are wrapped tightly around an injured joint or muscle to provide rigid support and restrict movement. They can only be worn for short periods of time, after which they must be removed to restore movement and circulation. Kinesiology tape, on the other hand, has unique elastic properties that allow it to provide dynamic support, protecting muscles and/or joints, while still allowing a safe and functional range of motion.
