Spring is not just for clearing out cupboards. It is for resetting your body too.
As the days get brighter and activity levels rise, many of us jump straight back into running, gardening, or tackling big jobs around the house. But after a slower winter, your body may need a little preparation first.
Osteopathy can help release tension, improve mobility, and get you ready for the season ahead whether you are returning to exercise or gearing up for a spring clean.

🥞 Happy Shrove Tuesday! 🥞
Whether you’re flipping pancakes like a pro or stacking them high, just a little reminder from us - your body’s doing a lot of the work behind the scenes!
All that standing, reaching, and stirring can sneak up on your shoulders, back, and arms (especially if the first flip goes wrong… 👀). So take it easy, move well, and enjoy the fun without overdoing it.
And if your body needs a bit of TLC after pancake day, you know where we are

“Is it OK to continue training after an injury?”

It’s one of the most common questions we’re asked.
The honest answer?
👉 It depends.

Complete rest isn’t always the solution.
In many cases, modified, structured training can support recovery — not hinder it.
Elite athletes don’t just “push through” injuries. They:
• Adjust load
• Maintain strength where possible
• Work around pain triggers
• Progress gradually
• Rebuild confidence alongside tissue capacity

Rehab isn’t the opposite of training.
Rehab is training — done intelligently.

If you’re unsure whether to stop completely or adapt your programme, the key is individual assessment and progressive planning.

Every injury is different. Every body is different.

If in doubt, get tailored advice from a qualified professional.

💗 Happy Valentine’s Day! 💗
Today’s all about love - and while flowers and chocolates are lovely, don’t forget about the relationship you’ll have for life… the one with your body.
Looking after how you move, rest, and recover is one of the simplest ways to show yourself some care. Less tension, more ease, and a body that supports you through everything life throws your way… now that’s a good match.
Whether you’re celebrating with someone special or keeping things low-key, we hope today includes a little kindness towards yourself too

Last Saturday I attended an equine head & neck dissection day 🐴🧠

Such a fascinating and valuable hands-on learning experience. It was amazing to see the anatomy up close and gain a deeper understanding of how everything works together beyond textbooks and diagrams.

Grateful for opportunities like this to keep learning, growing, and improving my knowledge in equine care ✨🐎

Small signs like tension, stiffness, or recurring niggles are often your body’s way of asking for support. Catching things early can make a real difference to how you move and feel day to day.

💗 February is the month of love… but when was the last time you showed some to yourself?
We’re often so busy looking after everyone else that our own bodies get pushed to the bottom of the list. Tight shoulders, constant fatigue, little niggles we “just live with”… sound familiar?
Self-care isn’t selfish — it’s essential.
When you look after your body, you move better, feel better, and have more to give to the people around you.
This month, consider this your reminder to slow down, listen in, and prioritise you
