It's getting hot out there, and older adults are more vulnerable to heat-related illness.

We're taking extra measures to make sure our residents stay comfortable across our group of homes - but if you know an older loved one who isn't in our care, they can do the following to stay cool:

💦 Stay hydrated, and keep the fridge stocked up with water
💨 Close the curtains & run a fan for airflow
👕 Ditch the knitted jumpers for light, breathable clothing
☀️ Keep in the shade
.. and have an ice cream 🍦

We’ve created adapted service guides to better support new neurodivergent clients—so they can navigate with ease, feel understood, and stay confidently in control.

Our new adaptations include:

✏️ Symbols, that bring words to life
⌨️ Bigger, friendlier fonts to make reading easier
🖨️ New paper options, like tinted paper & larger paper
🎧 Audio versions for sight-impaired clients
