Have you ever felt like you are too sensitive?

This can often go hand in hand with the belief that there is something wrong with us.

🌿Because we feel overwhelmed more easily than others.

🌿Because we notice more.

🌿Because things affect us more deeply.

But what if that isn’t a flaw?

What if it’s actually the way your system is designed?

Highly sensitive individuals often have what’s known as Sensory Processing Sensitivity.

This means your nervous system processes information more deeply.

You’re more aware of subtleties.
More attuned to others.
More emotionally responsive.

Your system is constantly pausing, checking, and taking things in.

And while that can be a real strength…

In busy, demanding environments, it can also lead to overwhelm.

Not because you’re doing something wrong.

But because your system is taking in more.

When we begin to understand this, something really important shifts.

We move from: What’s wrong with me?

To: This is how my system works.

And that awareness is powerful.

Because awareness reduces blame and shame.
And it allows us to make choices about how we support ourselves.

This is something we will be exploring inside my new group coaching programme - Calm Under Pressure.

We start on Sunday

If this resonates, feel free to reach out or send me a message 💬

Yesterday was an adventure and a lesson 💙

We had a beautiful day trip to France with the kids…for all the cheese, sightseeing, window shopping and ice creams on the beach 🏖️

Wasn’t the weather glorious ☀️

But I hadn’t planned well…I’d cut my journey time home way too fine and of course we missed our ferry back (we were there an hour early!!).

Plus I managed to stack it, tripping over a bike rack because I was too busy looking at the ice cream shop 🍦

I’m just grateful that I bounced, rather than broke! (I thank yoga for being able to fall well 😂). So no broken bones, just a bruised hip and ego!!

So I’m putting a bonus class on tonight to make up for not being there last night…I’ll be teaching tonight at 7.30pm and we will be working on the spine for energy and ease of movement 💫

Hope to see you there ❤️

There’s no pressure at all.

It’s not about becoming a completely different person.

You’re still thoughtful.
Still caring.
Still committed.

But something important shifts.

You stop running on pressure.

You start to feel:

– calmer under pressure (not just appearing calm)
– clearer in your decisions
– more able to say no
– less responsible for everything

And importantly…

You start to trust yourself.

That’s what this work really builds.

And it changes not just how you feel, but how you show up in your work and relationships.

If this is something you’ve been needing, this programme could really support you.

Calm Under Pressure - A 6-session, trauma-informed group coaching programme

I'm here to chat if you would like to talk it through.

Drop me a DM and we can arrange a call.

One of the biggest challenges with boundaries is that they don’t feel natural.

And they often don’t feel safe.

So even when you know what you want to say…

You still don’t say it.

That’s why I created Calm Under Pressure -
https://happyhealthy.thrivecart.com/calm-under-pressure/

This is a small group programme where we work on:

– understanding your patterns
– learning how to regulate overwhelm
– building boundaries step by step
– and practising expressing yourself in a way that feels safe

You won’t be doing this alone.

We do it together.

In a supportive space where you can go at your own pace.

Because this isn’t about getting it perfect.

It’s about learning a different way of being.

If you’re curious, you’re very welcome to reply and ask questions.

I cant wait to get started!

The turning point in this work isn’t forcing yourself to be different (that never works!!)

It’s understanding why you are the way you are.

When you begin to see that your patterns are not flaws…

But adaptations…

Something shifts.

You stop blaming yourself.

And you start becoming curious instead.

This is where real change begins.

Because from that place, you can start to:

– reconnect with yourself
– understand your needs
– build a sense of internal safety
– and begin to express yourself more authentically

Not by pushing.

But by supporting yourself.

This is the foundation of the work inside Calm Under Pressure.

3 months of support and coaching, plus a BONUS 1:1 coaching session with me.

One of my previous clients wrote some feedback after working with me:

"I keep having these moments of seeing and hearing 'me'. So bizarre, like 'Ah! There you are!' “

I love how that quote sums up this work.

It is a coming back to yourself. Your authentic self.

Any questions about the programme, drop me a DM - we start on Sunday 19th April.

I would love to hear from you x

Boundaries are the key to:

🌱 Recovering from and avoiding burnout
🌱 Being able to thrive and grow
🌱 Stretching our comfort zone
🌱 Challenging ourselves sustainably

What holds us back is lack of capacity because we are not resourcing ourselves enough.

And in order to increase capacity, in order to hold more challenging experiences, in order to feel more confident, capable, to have clarity, we need to resource ourselves.

And in order to resource ourselves we need to have boundaries 🙅🏻‍♀️

It is lack of boundaries that stop us from doing the things that we want to do and achieve.

Lack of boundaries is the reason we keep hitting the same walls, and coming up against the same patterns and the same resistance over and over again 🔁

We may not have ever learnt how to create boundaries or how to hold boundaries in a way that feels safe.

And this is linked to our ability to speak freely and express our needs, thoughts and feelings.

When we hold back from expressing ourselves. When we try to manage everyone else’s emotions and experience it actually holds us back from genuine connection.

We aren't able to share or connect with others 🫶

If you want to finally learn how to actually create and hold boundaries in a way that feels safe, you can find all the details of this new programme HERE.

I was speaking to a client recently who talked about how she has endless patience and endless calm.

And on the surface, that sounds like a good thing.

But I found myself wondering…

At what cost?

Because this is something I see often, and something I’ve experienced myself.

We can look calm on the outside.
We can be the one who keeps the peace.
The one who is patient, understanding, and accommodating.

But underneath, it can feel very different.

There can be anxiety.
Overwhelm.
Exhaustion.

Because the truth is that we don’t have infinite energy to keep showing up like that.

At some point, something starts to give.

And often, we don’t understand why.

I hear my clients say things like:

Why am I struggling when I seem to be coping?

or

Why do I feel like this when there doesn't seem to be a reason?

But there is a reason for this.

And it’s something I’ll be sharing more about in the coming days.

If this resonates, feel free to reply, I’d love to hear your experience.

And welcome you into my new group coaching programme for 3 months of support.

You can start right away with your free bonus 1:1 session with me - claim yours here:

We can play out patterns without even realising. Patterns such as...

Tending to others as a way of feeling validated

Abandoning our needs

Maintaining harmony, no matter the cost

Losing ourselves

Retreating and withdrawing

Thinking that you have to do it all alone

And these patterns would have been very useful at times.

A form of surviving and being accepted

But you might not need them any more. And they might be holding you back...

From saying what you really feel, from sharing your thoughts and your real self

From asking for help and support

From creating boundaries

From know and trusting yourself

If you would like support breaking free from the patterns that were passed down to you join me for my 3 month group coaching programme - Calm Under Pressure.

Learn how to forge new ways of connecting and sharing authentically.

Drop me a DM and I will send you all the details ❤️

02/04/2026

You are not a problem to be fixed ❤️

We can misunderstand our experiences as personal flaws, rather than signals and expression based on our nervous system states.

Rather than these experiences being a weakness, they are physiological responses that are there for a reason - to protect us so that we can survive.

The thing is that we may not need protecting in that way any more…sometimes our brains, bodies / nervous systems haven’t caught up to the present day and are stuck in the past still.

Creating understanding and awareness around this is a huge step forward and leads to more self compassion and less criticism.

This is the pathway to healing and growth 🌱

If you would like to join me in my group coaching programme - Calm Under Pressure for greater capacity then drop me a DM and I’ll send all the details over ❤️

Doors close 12th April.
