I’ve been working hard at slowing down for a long time now… and here’s what I’ve learnt:
✨ Slowing down doesn’t mean doing nothing. It means doing things with more intention and presence.
✨ It takes practice. Especially if you’ve spent years rushing, pushing, or staying busy to avoid discomfort.
✨ Rest isn’t a reward, it’s essential. And the more I prioritise it, the more grounded and clear I feel.
✨ My nervous system feels safer when I slow down. And when I feel safe, I feel more like me.
