🌻🌻Sneezing? Watery eyes? 🌻🌻
New pollen varieties mean you could be suffering from allergies for the first time.
Have you found you are sneezing, have a runny nose or watery eyes? Spring allergies have arrived earlier than normal this year, thus can affect your productivity and overall wellbeing.
A perfect storm of global warming and a wet March means higher pollen levels this April. New pollens from invading plants and trees also means many of you could start suffering from seasonal allergies, such as hay fever, for the first time.
Global warming is leading to an earlier, longer, spring pollen season. Changes in temperature and rainfall may lengthen the pollen season and make atmospheric pollen concentrations higher.
Contrary to popular belief, a dry season reduces the amount of pollen production, whereas spring rainfall increases it. The early signs are ominous, with March having been so wet.
Global warming is also having an impact. As the average temperature rises, new species of plants, grasses and trees are taking root. These bring new pollens, triggering allergies in people who have never previously suffered from problems such as hay fever.
If you feel that you have recently started suffering with allergies why not have our very comprehensive allergy test which tests of almost 300 allergens, explains how severe your allergy is and what symptoms you may get.
