The adverts on television, radios and in magazines or newspapers by a countrywide cremation service is sometimes making families believe and think they are the only ones who offer this service. It’s not true, your local funeral director can look after this service for you.
Your loved one will stay local, the cremation will stay local. You will see a funeral director, face to face, you won’t have to do all the arrangements by phone or email. Your loved one will be in a chapel of rest, locally, someone will be there to say good morning and goodnight to them, they will be safe, you’ll know exactly where they are. They will also be up to £500 cheaper, which means, if you want to, you can arrange a memorial service or a fitting way to say your goodbye after the cremation, and get the closure you need.
Unattended cremations are becoming more popular, but that doesn’t mean you can’t say your goodbye, with some music, a fitting tribute by a Celebrant or even raise a glass or two.
