Our eligibility criteria apply:
Aged between 18 & 74 yrs;
An initial BMI of 30 or more;
An initial BMI of 27 or greater with at least one health condition that is likely to be improved or resolved by weight loss;
Only for use when dietary and behavioral changes, with increased physical activity has failed to achieve the desired reduction in weight;
BMI is calculated by dividing your weight in Kg by your height in meteres squared
NHS locally may provide this from September 2025, for patients with a BMI of 40 or more, and may have waiting lists, discuss this with your surgery.
Medicated weight loss options:
Mounjaro injections, from £150 per month;
Mysimba tablets, £100 per month;
Orlistat capsules, £50 per month;
Saxenda injections, from £170 per month;
Wegovy injections, from £180 per month;
