💡💫 My Number 1 Most important tip for anyone returning back to the gym today would be, to focus on Volume over Intensity 📊
- Why? Volume is far more important than Intensity, if you go all out today and smash your workout and leave the gym sore you’ve over-trained.
-Look at it like this, if I trained today and was sore tomorrow and Wednesday it would take me til Thursday to recover and go again.
- However if I train at 50-60% and focus on less intensity more volume I can train everyday (frequency). That is more repetition over the next 7 days.
- We have an attitude that we have to be tough and work hard I’ve fallen prior to this a lot of times, we’re u just gotta be tougher and work out harder but it always results in fatigue and a loss of motivation
If your coach tries to burn you out today, get a new coach. 🤷♂️ (“Go hard or go home “👈🏻 Dumb ass)
- A champion trains for the long run, they train intelligently and more relaxed yes they train with intensity but only periodically during camps.
