This week, one of my moon sisters (who comes to our monthly moon circles) told me she feels called to start her own Circle, for her and her mum/school friends, as they all love the sound of our circle and want that for themselves.

Isn't that amazing?! The ripple effect of coming together in circle, now passing through to a whole new group of woman. An opportunity for all of us to remember, to share and to heal.🫶

A life update from me:
After much deliberation I’ve made the decision to no longer offer tattooing at Rowan Tree Studio. This was a difficult decision to make, but ultimately the right one. I’ve been finding it more and more difficult to juggle everything and found myself falling out of love with tattooing which is never a good thing. So I’ve decided, selfishly perhaps, to focus on the things that bring me the most joy. I’m still here, making art, just not on people anymore!
I just want to thank everyone for their continued support and all who trusted me with their tattoos over the last few years. Cat will still be using the studio for Energy Therapies and Seasonal Circles and would love to hear from you if you’re interested in her work.

I listened to a podcast yesterday day where the host said she had fallen out of love with social media, as there is so much snippets of information, we are all getting lost in the detail and lacking in depth. I resonated so much with that….I have SO much to say, but I can’t be contained to 2,200 characters!

So I’m still here 👋, holding space in Silent Counselling and Reiki sessions….just not posting about them! 😅 And if depth is what you are also craving we have a couple of spaces in our December Seasonal Circle, with some other beautiful woman. 🫶

Alongside my beautiful friend Lisa, I'm hosting Sacred Sisters Gathering - an intimate, nurturing circle for woman to come together in community and celebrate the change in season. Our intention is to have you leaving feeling revived and held and to build a community that continues long after the gathering ends.

The first Gathering takes place in a months time, on Saturday 27th September (1-4pm, here at Rowan Tree Studio).

Each circle will be unique and inspired by the changing season, with heart centred rituals and time for connection.
Some of the themes we will cover:

🌿 Connecting with local plants and the medicine they offer for the season.
🌿 Grounding ourselves through a guided meditation.
🌿 Sharing intentions to centre ourselves in the coming months.
🌿 Listening to the most beautiful live music to soothe your nervous system.
🌿 Connecting and rebalancing our energy through Reiki.
🌿 Leaving with handmade gifts, and a stronger connection to a community of likeminded woman.

This is Lisa. She is the coolest woman I know (so cool she doesn't live within the restraints of social media so I can't tag her!). A very talented gardener, musician, creator, home educator, mother to 3....and a beautiful friend.

Lisa and I have been working on a shared vision: a community of woman, coming together in the magic of a sacred circle, celebrating the start of each new season - sharing music, plant/herb knowledge, reiki, mediation and ritual.

Our first circle will be in September, as we welcome in the autumn. Places are limited as this will be a small group circle, I will be emailing info out to my mailing list first, once the webpage is ready, so if you want to grab a place early DM me your email, to be added to my list. (If you have visited the studio for Reiki / Silent counselling you will already be on my list!)

A busy day in the studio....two reiki sessions and 1 silent counselling session containing 1 almighty energetic shift.

Today I watched a client peel away layers of grief they have carried for years, and sitting now reflecting on it, it moves me to tears that I get to do this work. I am so grateful to be part of such a beautifully profound moment on someone's journey.

Silent counselling found me....in a telegram chat group: I saw someone mention they were trained in it, and without even knowing what it consisted of, I knew it was part of my future. I then read up and realised the founder, and my (now) mentor, Marjorie, lived just 30 mins from me.
It has always felt like it was meant for me, and it still amazes me after 2 years of being a practitioner, how much of an impact this work can have.

I know how it is….your busy, you don’t get any time to yourself, you put off addressing those issues that are holding you back…plus travelling to a wee studio in the countryside isn’t high on the priority list 🤪
I can offer Silent Counselling sessions via Zoom, where an online session covers exactly the same areas as an in-person session would.

I don’t share much client feedback on our socials as the feedback I receive is always very specific to the clients personal situations.….BUT I asked permission from these clients to share this as it’s a cool story….

Both these clients came for a combination session, and found the modalities so useful that they asked where they can train themselves so they can use the therapies on their loved ones. (I always recommend the people who trained me!). One has trained in Level 1 Reiki last month, and one is doing Silent Counselling Level 1 today! A ripple effect of energy healing that just keeps on rippling. So grateful to be a part of these ripples 💖🙌
