I wasn't meant to be back in the studio until the new year BUT an opportunity arose for me to hold space for a client who wanted to have some sort of ceremony to see in the new year with intention and a clear path forward.

We had a silent counselling session to release, followed by a ceremony to ground, connect to our spiritual self and set intention for the coming year.
It was beautiful and such a lovely way to spend the last morning of the year.

What a privilege it is to hold space and witness shifts I'm now switching off (again😂) to go and do the same rituals for myself.

Happy New Year when it comes. May 2026 be a year of gratitude and joy. 💖🌿Lang may yer lum reek xx

As our advent candle gives light for the last time, we would like to thank everyone for their support of our wee studio this year.

We will taking a social media break for the holidays to concentrate on some lovely family time, but will be back in the studio (and answering messages) from Jan 5th (and in the meantime, for any last minute gifts, James has some leather goods for sale down at ).

📸 - I was lucky enough to have our last moon circle of the year with my beautiful friends fall upon the solstice. Moon circles are always special but sometimes they are a remembering, of our ancestors connection to circles, and a soul remebering of doing this before in previous lives. I’m certain I have sat in circle many lifetimes over!

This season can feel expensive and overwhelming, so l have held back one space at our Winter Seasonal Sisters Gathering for someone who needs it.

This week, one of my moon sisters (who comes to our monthly moon circles) told me she feels called to start her own Circle, for her and her mum/school friends, as they all love the sound of our circle and want that for themselves.

Isn't that amazing?! The ripple effect of coming together in circle, now passing through to a whole new group of woman. An opportunity for all of us to remember, to share and to heal.🫶

A life update from me:
After much deliberation I’ve made the decision to no longer offer tattooing at Rowan Tree Studio. This was a difficult decision to make, but ultimately the right one. I’ve been finding it more and more difficult to juggle everything and found myself falling out of love with tattooing which is never a good thing. So I’ve decided, selfishly perhaps, to focus on the things that bring me the most joy. I’m still here, making art, just not on people anymore!
I just want to thank everyone for their continued support and all who trusted me with their tattoos over the last few years. Cat will still be using the studio for Energy Therapies and Seasonal Circles and would love to hear from you if you’re interested in her work.

I listened to a podcast yesterday day where the host said she had fallen out of love with social media, as there is so much snippets of information, we are all getting lost in the detail and lacking in depth. I resonated so much with that….I have SO much to say, but I can’t be contained to 2,200 characters!

So I’m still here 👋, holding space in Silent Counselling and Reiki sessions….just not posting about them! 😅 And if depth is what you are also craving we have a couple of spaces in our December Seasonal Circle, with some other beautiful woman. 🫶

Alongside my beautiful friend Lisa, I'm hosting Sacred Sisters Gathering - an intimate, nurturing circle for woman to come together in community and celebrate the change in season. Our intention is to have you leaving feeling revived and held and to build a community that continues long after the gathering ends.

The first Gathering takes place in a months time, on Saturday 27th September (1-4pm, here at Rowan Tree Studio).

Each circle will be unique and inspired by the changing season, with heart centred rituals and time for connection.
Some of the themes we will cover:

🌿 Connecting with local plants and the medicine they offer for the season.
🌿 Grounding ourselves through a guided meditation.
🌿 Sharing intentions to centre ourselves in the coming months.
🌿 Listening to the most beautiful live music to soothe your nervous system.
🌿 Connecting and rebalancing our energy through Reiki.
🌿 Leaving with handmade gifts, and a stronger connection to a community of likeminded woman.
