Planned roadworks in Forfar
Work on dropped kerbs will mean the closure of North Street (B9128) at its junction with Market Street in Forfar.
This closure, required for work to be carried out safely, is due to be in place from Monday 22 September for a period of five weeks.
Local diversions will be via John Street and Don Street, and signs will be in place.
Vehicle access to properties will be maintained wherever practical, but there will be no on-street parking nearby. Residents are asked to find alternative on-street parking while the work is done.
Pedestrian access will be available to all properties, but people should be aware that barriers may be in place for safety and should not move them. Anyone needing assistance to access or leave their property while work is being carried out should ask one of the workforce.
A walkway will run next to the work for its duration and bin collections won’t be affected.
