2 week rolling set rota-

Forfar Area: driving or walking position

week 1: Monday AM, Tuesday AM, Wednesday PM, Thursday PM, Friday AM & PM.

week 2: Monday PM, Tuesday PM, Wednesday PM, Thursday PM, Friday 0700-1700, weekend pm shifts.

Arbroath/Carnoustie/Monifeith area: driving position

week 1: Monday am, Tuesday pm, Wednesday am , Thursday pm, Friday am & pm.

week 2: Monday pm, Thursday am & pm, Saturday & Sunday am & pm shifts.

Brechin area: walking or driving position

week 1: Saturday & Sunday am & pm shifts.

week 2: Friday am & pm.

We may be able to move some days/shifts around if set pattern doesn't suit ideally.

Unicare have been providing homecare to people across Angus since 2011. We have been awarded a Grade 5 from the Care Inspectorate!!

We are currently recruiting homecare assistants to assist people in their own homes with all aspects of daily living including Personal care, housing support and socialising.

Two satisfactory references will be required. Applicants must be willing to join the PVG scheme and register with the SSSC.

Full, paid training is provided.

We currently pay £12.60 per hour, (18.90p/h if you work on your weekend off) paid from beginning of the shift to end, not just per client, travel time given between houses which is also paid, no lost time for spaces in your route. Pension scheme, £50 every 6 months good attendance bonus scheme, £150 introduce a friend scheme and travel allowance included; 45p a mile/ extra if doubled up.

Free Uniform and all PPE is provided including gloves, aprons, masks, visors, anti bac wipes, hand gel, nappy sacks, soap, towel and your own pens all to reduce the spread of infection.

We do not offer sponsorship.

Well folks, it’s that time again.. when the Care Inspector just “drops by!”…
But I’m happy to let everyone know that due to being an amazing team, we have maintained our 🧡💖Grade 5!!!🎉🎊🪅🍾🥂
Without sounding like I’m at the Grammys, (I wear way too many clothes for them!) I would firstly like to thank everyone who currently works so hard providing assistance to our lovely service users, and those who are no longer with us.. without you all, we wouldn’t be here! I want to say thank you to Seniors for being my eyes and ears in the field. And oncall staff for holding the fort at evenings and weekends! Also to the cuppy makers when you are in the office…godsend!!
I would also like to thank our customers, their families, external professionals and anyone else who spoke so highly of our wee company, It means the world to hear such positive feedback!
Finally, I would like to thank my daughter Stacy who works very hard alongside me and I couldn’t do it all without her! And also my husband for perseverance!

‼️ We are launching a new Service ‼️

You can now hire a keysafe from us for short-term use. After listening to our clients, we know not everyone requires a keysafe for long term use. Some only need one for a few weeks or days to help when recovering from surgery, illness, or temporary mobility issues, to allow family members, carers, friends or neighbours access to your home.

You can hire one of our keysafes for a small installation charge then a minimal weekly fee, and keep it for as long as you need it! We collect when no longer required, and fill the small holes left behind. Or you have the option to purchase it and leave it in place.
