Louise ,Donna and family of the late Alan (Nobby) Clarke would like to thank all relatives ,friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy ,cards and beautiful floral tributes received during the recent sad and sudden loss of Nobby.. Special thanks to Michael Duffus and the coffin bearers of the Queens Own Highlanders for their military precision. to the Guard of Honour that lined the church steps and Forres High Street to Steph our piper for his impeccable playing of the pipes. Thanks also to Rev Stuart Finlayson for his pastoral care and most uplifting service, to Callum and Davie for their support and for just "being there". Also to Andrew Smith ,Liz and Kelly, for outstanding care and professionalism with all the funeral arrangements, to Louise and her team at RBL for the excellent catering and to all who paid their last respects at St Leonards Church and graveside and to all who gave so generously to Erskine Forres which realised £1100.00. Devoted mum to Lucy and David a loving Oma to Jade, Cassie, Daisy and Noah, also a dear sister to Norma, Carol and Ruth. Funeral Service to be held in Inverness Crematorium on Wednesday, 27th May at 12 noon, to which all friends are respectfully invited, family flowers only please. Peacefully, with his loving wife and best friend Lisa by his side, at his home 8 Fleurs Drive, Forres on Thursday, May 7th 2026. Douglas John (Dougie) aged 54 years. (Retired Bank of Scotland and Dougie's Garden Maintenance). Cherished husband to Lisa a devoted Dad, stepdad, son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, cousin, step uncle, and friend to many. A service of Celebration for Dougie's life will be held in Moray Crematorium, Buckie on Wednesday, May 20th at 12.30pm to which all friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please.
