🚨 Our next Rescue 3 Europe Safe Working near Water course will be held at our HQ Earnhill House on 22nd October.

This is a great course designed for people tasked with working near water and who will be issued with lifejackets but will not be expected to intentionally enter the water, eg EA, SEPA, NRW personnel, construction industry workers, road and bridge maintenance workers.

We had a great day with Council Bridge Engineers and Surveyors who have completed a Safe Working Near Water course at to learn how to keep themselves and their colleagues safe! 🛟👷🔧

It was great to discuss the work they do and come up with good safety solutions, training and risk awareness of what they will face.

This is a fab course being held at our main HQ, the beautiful Earnhill House, in Forres and includes food and accommodation - we start 9am Saturday and finish 5pm Sunday!

We think this will be an amazing chance to learn some important information to keep you safe when entering wild water but also to meet like-minded people and maybe find some new swim buddies! ☺️

We often get asked about the DEFRA "Flood rescue concept of operations" in particular ANNEX H... whilst there is no bill that governs the implementation of these practices they have become best practice for people working in and around water.

Our industry courses 'The Rescue 3 Europe Flood Operations (FO) and Flood Operations – Foundation (FO-F)' both align with ANNEX H and are well received by companies with workers in this environment. However the Safe working in and near water course are more specific to industry (not including the flood elements and therefore don’t cover annex H) are more popular and have become industry standard.

If you are unsure which course is appropriate for you we would be happy to answer any questions you have about working in or around water and the training and equipment needed to keep your work force safe.
